Kart Mini Australia Race Team

We would like to welcome the newest member of the Kart Mini Team, Jack Tippett.

Jack has been driving in the Midget Class for 9 months now and has just taken delivery of the only Kart Mini Cadet in Australia at the moment.

It was a great debut for Jack & the Kart Mini Cadet as he drove it to a win in their first ever race in Australia. This was capped by a strong third placing overall for the day.

A Race Win and a Podium in the first ever race meeting, it doesn't get much better than that!

Driver Wanted

Are you an accomplished Leopard/Rotax driver???

I am looking for a driver to promote the Kart Mini Smart in Australia.

A great package will be put together for the right driver.

Due to the high costs of fully sponsoring a first class driver I have had to part company

with former Australian Leopard Champion, Matt Greenbury.

I would think in the time Matt was driving the Kart Mini we proved to the Australian

market that they are a superior product.

Our run at the Nationals was spoilt right from the start having to strip our engines in

Tasmania to change bearings we were told were legal before we left. Then yours truly

didn't tighten the engine for the second qualifying session. It just got worse from there.

It was a long way to go to have such bad luck.

On top of that while running 3rd in the Vic. Open Titles the Mychron decided to give temp readings of up to 130 deg., so Matt decided to save the engine. When he pulled up on the in grid it went straight back to 65 deg.

Matt still says he can't believe how well they unload off the corners and just keeps getting

stronger as the race goes on. It is great to have a really strong engine but you need a kart

that will let it do the job. We have found we can run gearing 2-3 teeth less than most with

the Kart Mini Smart, giving unbelievable top end speed.
